St Mochua Historical Society was set up in 1993. The Society was set up to work in the North West Kildare area to research and document details of historic sites and buildings within the local region. We record the historical events and happenings of the past for the benefit of future generations. By having these records it should make it easier for people seeking such details. We try to provide information relevant to Ancestry in the local areas. It is our aim to publish collated information into booklets where practical.
Our Meetings and Talks are held in Kelly’s Lounge, Timahoe on the first Wednesday of the Month at 8.30 P.M. The details for this year are in our events page.
Membership is €10.00 per year. This is open to everybody on payment of the Annual Subscription of €10 euros yearly . Non-members are welcome to come to the talks or travel with us on outings we undertake each year.
